There were 25,365 MA starts created in 2023/24, with 38,607 MAs in training at the end of the financial year. BTTA PLANS FOR NEW TRAINING CENTRE

To enhance their training provision, BTTA is currently in negotiations to acquire a unit in Tweedbank Industrial estate. This will be turned into a dedicated technical training centre for the Borders. Over the coming months the centre will be refurbished and kitted out with engineering equipment and training rooms.
